Revision or Story frenzy?

So it's a Sunday afternoon... the rain is pouring and there is nothing remarkably interesting on the tele.

The boredom is slowly but surely consuming me, so I have a choice:
choice #1: Stare at tele aimlessly until I fall asleep
choice #2: English & Performing Arts revision/coursework
choice #3: Do some story writing

Uggghh. I've just got back from a four hour shift at the pub (no break!) and I really am beginning to enter that stage in the day when I have to choose to either do something or do nothing. The sensible and realistic part of me is telling me to get on with some work, but the other part of me (I don't know what you want to call it- the creative side? Imaginative side? Spontaneous side?) wants me to start planning a story that has firmly wedged itself smack-bang in the middle of my brain.

So what to do?
Work or write?
To be or not to be?
aaaah decisions decisions...

It's Monday today :D But yes, it has felt like a Sunday, what with the glorious weather and so on ;)

Hmmm, decisions, decisions indeed! I have to say, I would go for 2 and 3. Here's how that works-

Study for an hour or so, and then reward yourself by writing fic :D Because if you write the fic first, well... let's just say the studying doesn't really get done. At all. And trust me, this is me talking from experience!

oh dear Lord I am actually going mad (I blame the slight hang over). What did I put Sunday for???

LOL don't worry- I went mad a long time ago... Can't blame mine on alcohol though, unfortunately :D Just general RL! But, as I say, if you don't laugh, you cry!

Only one thing for it- sort out the story. Work can wait when you've had a day like the one you've just described.

And I am doing so right now! On the second chapter already, coming along very nicely.

Well I have important exams next week that I have so far justified not revising for, you can justify anything if you try hard enough :) Good luck with the story.
